This year there is double the joy at Germany’s Next Top Model! It’s finally starting again in just a few weeks – the 19th season of Heidi Klum’s (50) popular model casting show will premiere on February 15th. This year, fans can look forward to an exciting innovation: men are allowed to take part for the first time. Now Heidi reveals: That’s why there will be two winners!
In an interview with TV Digital, the model mom reveals a few details about the new season. The most blatant: “In the end there is a male and female winner, so not just one ‘Germany’s Next Top Model’. In this respect, it is no longer true that ‘there can only be one.'” The two winners each receive 100,000 euros and both become to be featured on the cover of Harper’s Bazaar.
The male and female candidates will also have to face different challenges, photo shoots and fashion shows during the casting show. “Because there are still differences. For example, in Paris, Milan, London and New York, men don’t walk in high heels, even if it happens now and then,” explains Heidi.
