Ingolstadt – 1. FC Heidenheim celebrated a victory at FC Ingolstadt in the 2nd Bundesliga thanks to an artificial shot by Tim Kleindienst.

In the 2-1 (0-0) away match against the promoted team, the 25-year-old striker (75th minute) scored a goal from the center circle. Joker Patrick Schmidt (73rd) had previously made the equalizer. In front of 3360 spectators, Upper Bavaria’s joy over Filip Bilbija’s opening goal (59th minute) did not last long.

A week after the disappointing 3-0 in Dresden, the Ingolstadt team presented themselves significantly better. Roberto Pätzold’s team was much more focused and energetic defensively and closed the rooms well. The midfielder Denis Linsmayer, who was only signed by SV Sandhausen on Friday, presented himself as a manager and gave many commands.

After a goal from Heidenheim’s Christian Kühlwetter (25th) did not count due to an offside position before the break, Ingolstadt struck after the break. In a counterattack, Merlin Röhl put on for Bilbija, who finished from close range.

The guests answered with a double punch. First Schmidt equalized after the submission of the substitute Robert Leipertz, then Kleindienst goalkeeper Fabijan Buntic surprised with his lifter.
