Wednesday’s game at the Riga Technical College stadium ended with a tie 26:26 (18: 6).
Only in the last minutes of the game with a penalty kick did the player of Ķekava team Juris Iesalnieks equalize in the game.
On Tuesday, “Garkalne” / “Livonia” defeated debutants “Rāmavas Lāči” at Upesciems stadium with 64: 5 (24: 0).
Already in the first half, “Livonia” got bonus points in the overall rating. In the second half, the situation on the field did not change, the Livonians took turns and celebrated a safe victory with 64: 5.
In preparation for the Baltic Top League game scheduled for the weekend, the Livonia team was not in the optimal line-up.
At the top of the tournament table with six points in two games are “Ķekava” / “Butchers” and “Eži” / “EK Sistēmas” teams, further with four points is “Garkalne” / “Livonia”. The teams of “Jūrmala”, Valmiera “Fenikss” and “Rāmavas Lāči” are currently without points, but the people of Valmiera have not yet participated in the tournament.
The Latvian championship will take place in five rounds from July 14 to September 6.
