The Hispanic-Bolivian artist Hector Guerra presented his new single titled “Dancing Under the Storm”, a combination of rhythms that undoubtedly condenses all his style in a single song.
Since musical independence, Hector Guerra continues to shake the Global Bass genre and build musical bridges with artists of different genres and origins, as happened now with his most recent single “Dancing Under The Storm”.

Musically, this single is an Afro-Caribbean rhythm, a mixture of reggaeton and Afrobeats with a vindictive lyric in favor of Pachamama or mother nature, or how Héctor would call it, a “cosmic perreo”.
In this new single that is part of his long-awaited fourth album Perreo Cósmico, which will be released in 2021, he is accompanied by the Dominican rapper AcentOh and the singer-songwriter Sebastián Otero from Puerto Rico.
“Dancing under the storm” is an energetic dance pamphlet of social struggle and good vibes, it does not matter being in San Juan, Santo Domingo or Madrid, the exhaustion towards the drift of the governments that go against the welfare of society is the same anywhere in the world and they say so strongly under the production of the Mexican Kju Fx.
Héctor Guerra is an exciting mix of urban styles such as trap, dance hall, or electronic music, seasoned with root music such as cumbia, Andean music and traditional African music. At the age of 18, he was sponsored by DJ Lord from Public Enemy, whom he accompanied on tour in 2003 through major international festivals in Spain, thus beginning his artistic career.
He has three albums released independently: Amor (2012), Gracias por Existir (2015), Desde El Infierno (2018), a trilogy created in Mexico that led him to share for more than 7 years within indigenous ancestral cultures in the Sonoran desert.
The song goes hand in hand with the Spanish company of ecological and vegan shoes BULLFEET. The sale of each pair of “Perreo Cósmico” shoes that will be launched in the coming months will support a social and environmental cause in the country of origin of the artists invited by Héctor Guerra in each of the songs on his next album. Shoes are made from vegan leather and 100% denim from recycled plastic bottles
In this case, the sale of the shoes from “Bailando Bajo La Tormenta” will go to support in Puerto Rico Hogar de Niños Andrés, a non-profit organization in Bayamón, Puerto Rico that welcomes abused girls and boys. Hurricane María devastated the island of Puerto Rico and the home due to lack of financial means has not been able to repair the roof of the house.
