Hector Bonilla in ‘Red Dawn’
Bonilla has had a prolific career in film, theater and television. A graduate of the INBAL School of Theater Art, the actor has consolidated himself as one of the most important exponents of acting in Mexico.
His starring role in the film Red Dawn, directed by George Fons, whose story takes up the events that occurred in the Tlatelolco massacre in the Plaza de las Tres Culturas, consolidated his career in the seventh art.
Although the story is fictional, the film openly addresses the background of student protest and the violence exerted by the state against a social movement.
Héctor Bonilla shared credits with Jorge Fegan, Ademar Arau, Bruno Bichir, Demián Bichir and the late Eduardo Palomo.
