“Part of the oil is transferred and goes for processing outside Turkey, and some is sold on the domestic market. On average, one tanker is loaded daily in these ports,” the Russian Ministry of Defense said in a statement.

Satellite images from these ports, dated November 25, 2015, clearly show columns of tankers waiting to be unloaded.

There are 395 cisterns in Dortjol, and 60 in Iskenderun.

Earlier, the Ministry of Defense announced that the tankers sent by the Islamic State terrorists to the territory of Turkey were disguised as trucks.

The Russian Ministry of Defense published evidence of oil supplies from IS-controlled territories to Turkey. It was also reported that Moscow is aware of three routes for the delivery of oil from IS in Syria to Turkey. The western route leads to the Turkish ports on the Mediterranean coast, the northern route to the oil refinery in Patma, and the eastern route to the cargo transfer base in the village of Jazri. After crossing the Syrian-Turkish border, oil tankers from IS go to the ports and from there by ships they are sent for processing to third countries.

As evidence, the Ministry of Defense presented satellite photos that, according to the Russian military, show the convoys of tanker trucks in Turkey, in close proximity to IS-controlled territories.

The General Staff reports that IS uses no less than 8,500 tanker trucks for the criminal oil trade, transporting up to 200,000 barrels of oil per day.

As the main beneficiaries of this trade, the Ministry of Defense announced the President of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, and members of his family.
