Offenbach (dpa/lhe) – At the start of the week, people in Hesse expect some heavy showers, thunderstorms and even storms locally. In addition, the German Weather Service (DWD) in Offenbach issued a heat warning for Monday for the Bergstrasse district and the Odenwald district. The reason for this is the heat load associated with high humidity. The temperatures are between 27 and 31 degrees. During the night, showers and thunderstorms will initially subside. In the further course, however, new showers of rain with thunderstorms coming from the southwest are expected.
Showers and thunderstorms are also expected in some areas on Tuesday. According to meteorologists, heavy rain and storms are possible locally. The maximum values are between 26 and 29 degrees. In the afternoon, showers and thunderstorms will subside, especially in the west. In the course of the night it can rain, lightning and thunder again.
