Through a press release, the National Meteorological Agency of Guinea announces that the day of this Tuesday, June 20, will be very rainy over a large part of Guinea.
This situation will primarily concern the prefectures of Kankan, Siguiri and Mandiana, then the other localities.
Two rain-stormy systems in full activity which follow each other, progress towards the west and will respectively affect Upper Guinea, Forest Guinea, Middle Guinea and Lower Coast during the day. The fusion of these two cells will generate a reinforced system which will be able to reach Conakry between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m.
This situation will primarily concern the prefectures of Kankan, Siguiri and Mandiana, then the other localities.
Consequently, this situation will cause significant stormy rain showers that can cause flooding, especially in vulnerable areas.
