Heavy Rains and Yellow Alert in Kerala: Latest Updates and Impacts

The Central Meteorological Department has predicted heavy rains in the state today and tomorrow. Yellow alert has been declared in Idukki, Kannur and Kasaragod districts today. According to the Central Meteorological Department, the rains will be heavy in North Kerala and Central Kerala. A cyclone is prevailing over the central west Bay of Bengal. Another cyclonic system will form over northwest Bay of Bengal by Sunday. As a result of this effect, widespread rains will be received in Kerala today and tomorrow.
