The Mexican monsoon, in interaction with instability at high levels of the atmosphere and with a low pressure center at altitude that will be established over the northwest of the country, will generate very heavy rains to intense points in that region, as well as showers and heavy rains in the Baja California peninsula.

Wind gusts of 60 to 80 km/h are forecast with the possible formation of whirlwinds or tornadoes in Sonora, Sinaloa and Chihuahua, as well as the possible formation of waterspouts in the Gulf of California and on the coasts of Sonora and Sinaloa.
According to a statement from the agency dependent on the National Water Commission (Conagua), low pressure channels will extend over the north, northeast, west and center of the national territory, along with instability at high levels of the atmosphere and the entry of humidity from both coasts, causing showers and heavy rains in these regions.
