Four people have died in heavy rains and floods in the southern Russian region of Sochi, officials said on Tuesday. Flood waters washed away the car near Tuapse. A 36-year-old woman and her 13-year-old daughter lost their lives in the accident. The father managed to escape, local authorities said. A 71-year-old man and a young girl were also found dead in the same area. Due to bad weather, a state of emergency has been declared in several places in the region.
