Thiruvananthapuram: Heavy rain will continue in Kerala. The Central Meteorological Department has informed that there is a possibility of heavy rain with thunder and lightning at isolated places in Kerala till Monday. Yellow alert was declared in ten districts on Sunday. Alert has been issued in Pathanamthitta, Alappuzha, Kottayam, Ernakulam, Idukki, Thrissur, Palakkad, Malappuram, Kozhikode and Kannur districts. Idukki and Malappuram districts are also on yellow alert on Monday.

Chance of isolated heavy rain is forecast. Heavy rain (yellow alert) means rainfall of 64.5 mm to 115.5 mm in 24 hours.
