It rains heavily in the southern part of the country.
Even in northern Gyeonggi and northern Gangwon, there are places where heavy rain falls as strong rain clouds pass locally.
A heavy rain warning is in effect for all of Jeonnam and Jeonbuk, northern Gyeongbuk and western Gyeongnam.
In particular, heavy rain warnings were issued in Yeongju and Bonghwa in North Gyeongsang Province as 60mm of water fell per hour.
As of 7:00 am, the cumulative precipitation of 245mm in Yeongju (Isan-myeon), 162mm in Bonghwa, and 101.5mm in Iksan, Jeonbuk was recorded.
Today, as the congestion front goes down to the south, it will pour heavy rain in the southern region.
Until tomorrow morning, a maximum of 250 mm or more is expected in Jeju, 150 mm or more in Jeonnam and Gyeongnam, 20 to 60 mm in Jeonbuk and Gyeongbuk, and 5 to 40 mm in the central region.
In particular, there will be places where heavy rain of 30 to 60 mm per hour pours in the southern part and Jeju.
Since the beginning of the rainy season, the ground has been greatly weakened due to the unusually heavy rain.
In areas prone to landslides, pay attention to disaster messages and weather information, and immediately evacuate to a safe place such as a school if signs of a landslide appear.
In addition, as the river level has risen significantly due to heavy rain, it is necessary to prepare for flooding in low-lying areas and to be careful about safety accidents such as torrents.
The Korea Meteorological Administration predicted that the monsoon rain would subside from tomorrow afternoon, and that heat waves and tropical nights would appear on the weekend, with daytime temperatures in Seoul rising to 34 degrees Celsius.
