Heavy hail in Madan this afternoon. The ice cubes fell for about 15 minutes, according to the Municipal Administration. A hail cover of nearly 10 cm was formed.
Streets and buildings are flooded, the entrance to the city is closed, there are stuck cars. There are also problems with mobile communications.
The storm caused congestion in the shafts, during which the main street was closed for some time.
Fire crews are draining and unclogging the clogged infrastructure. There are no data on destruction and damage to the agricultural crop so far.
Heavy rain mixed with hail falls in the afternoon in Smolyan as well. Fire crews have drained flooded terrains in the Raykovo and Ustovo neighborhoods.
