The results of a survey on satisfaction with the performance of the government of President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) and Vice President Ma’ruf Amin changed over the past 3 weeks. Respondents’ satisfaction with Jokowi’s performance in the surveys is like the earth and the sky.
Satisfaction with Jokowi’s performance had dropped in a survey whose results were released in April 2022. The satisfaction rate with Jokowi’s performance then rose dramatically in the latest survey released in May 2022.

Indonesian Political Indicator Survey
The Indonesian Political Indicator states that satisfaction with Jokowi’s performance is at 59.9 percent on April 19, 2022. This number is down when compared to January 2022, where 75.3 percent of respondents are satisfied.
The Executive Director of Indonesian Political Indicators Burhanuddin Muhtadi explained that this survey involved a population who had the right to vote, namely people aged 17 years and over or already married. Sampling using the method multistage random sampling. The number of samples is 1,220 people.
From the total sample of 1,220 people, margin of error or an error tolerance of plus or minus 2.9 percent with a confidence level of 95 percent. The sample comes from all provinces in Indonesia with face-to-face interview techniques.
The following are the results of a survey of public satisfaction with Jokowi’s performance according to the Indonesian Political Indicator:
Very satisfied: 10.2 percent
Quite satisfied: 49.7 percent
Not satisfied: 30.5 percent
Dissatisfied: 8.1 percent
Don’t know/no answer: 1.5 percent
“In April 14 to April 19, those who are satisfied or very satisfied are 59.9 percent, those who are less satisfied are 38.6 percent, so more are satisfied. How is the trend? There is a downward trend,” said Burhanuddin, Tuesday (26). /4/2022).
Burhanuddin explained, at the beginning of January 2022, at that time people who were satisfied with Jokowi’s performance were 75.3 percent. Satisfaction with Jokowi’s performance was highest during his administration, but by April the trend was downwards.
