In view of the exceptionally high temperatures announced for the next few days, specific recommendations addressed to school principals and school heads were sent today by the Ministry of National Education and Youth, in order to prevent the effects of a heat wave on candidates of the final exams and of the staff involved, as well as on the pupils and teachers in the classroom.
During this week, particular attention will be paid to the health of students, in particular the youngest, the most vulnerable and those who will take the final exams. For the latter, the managers of the examination center will ensure that the instructions are followed in the event of an episode of extreme heat, ensuring the smooth running of the tests.
In addition to the good gestures to adopt, such as drinking regularly, not exposing yourself to the sun, adjusting your diet, etc., remember the importance of also being attentive to the signs of heat stroke: great weakness, fatigue, dizziness, vertigo, nausea , cramps, fever, headache. It is therefore necessary to act quickly and call for medical assistance (SAMU 15).
