“Due to the fact that in the capital in the following days the weather remains cool and the average daily temperature is below +8 degrees, they have to postpone the shutdown of heat in Kiev for several days,” the message says.
At the same time, the Kyiv City State Administration noted that the decision to postpone the end of the heating season was due to the introduction of a lockdown in the capital, which is why some of the city’s residents work remotely from home.
Thus, the city authorities plan to begin the end of the heating season from April 10.
“We also draw your attention to the fact that any home community can disconnect from heating by making a decision at general meetings and submit the appropriate protocol to the heat supply company,” the message says.
The Kyiv City State Administration recalled that the decision to turn off the heating is made when the average daily temperature rises above +8 degrees for three days.
