The extreme prices for heating oil and fuel are apparently pushing many people in Germany into a corner. Jutta Leitherer is currently noticing this from her customers. The 64-year-old runs the Zügel family business in Marktheidenfeld (Main-Spessart district), which trades in heating oil. Leitherer is convinced that the price of oil will not remain as high as it is now in the long term. There are no short-term alternatives for heating and refueling.
