1.2 million citizens who want to be subsidized to warm themselves by consuming electricity have until January 19. The subsidy amount starts from 45 euros and reaches 480 euros.
The application is made on the MyHeating platform, with the applicant’s VAT number and definitely the number of dependent members of the household, the provision number of the main residence and the postal code.
The criteria are exactly the same as for the oil, firewood and natural gas subsidy, i.e. 16,000 euros for singles, 24,000 euros for married people, plus 5,000 euros for each child. 16,000 euros for single people, 24,000 euros for married people , plus 5,000 euros for each child.
Regarding the property criteria, the real estate must not exceed 200,000 euros for a single-person household and 300,000 euros for families.
For freelancers, their turnover should not exceed 80,000 euros.

The basic heating allowance for electricity is 60 euros/month.
The subsidy ranges from 45 euros to 480 euros.
The electricity subsidy covers three months (1/1/2024 to 31/3/2024).
A 20% surcharge is provided for each child.
The money is a direct discount on the electricity bill, which is issued by the respective supplier, and not a credit to a bank account.
In case an account includes a period of the month, the monthly subsidy is distributed proportionally, within the subsidy period.
Those receiving any other heating allowance or social tariff are excluded.
