The cruelty of Heather Scarbough (42) from Henry County, Tennessee (USA) is beyond his head. A devout mother imprisoned her 18-month-old son in a dog cage.
The child was found by animal rights defenders from Animal Rescue Corp, who appeared on the property along with the police. The reason was the illegal breeding, which the American ran with her 46-year-old partner TJ Brown and her father, 82-year-old Charles Brown – said Channel 5. Someone informed the services that there are about 700 animals living in nightmarish conditions.
After entering the area, activists and officers found 86 chickens and cocks, 56 dogs, 10 rabbits, 4 parrots, 3 cats, 8 snakes, one pheasant, 531 rodents. They also discovered an illegal marijuana plantation and seventeen firearms.
In the room where the snakes were kept, there was a cage in which the boy lived. It was full of garbage, food leftovers and excrement. The child was dirty and starved, worms were walking on him. Only a few toys had to play with.
The services believe that the boy spent most of his life in confinement. Now he was taken care of by the authorities and his loved ones arrested. They are responsible for bullying him and animals, producing marijuana and illegal possession of weapons.
