Is the warm weather just due to climate change?

We no longer have to go to Spain or Turkey for warm summer weather. With temperatures approaching forty degrees, we might as well stay in our own country. According to the KNMI, the last eight years were the warmest since 1900. This is due to climate change. But what about the hot summers of 1947 or 1976?
