Sanne, the cattle farmer from the new season of ‘Boer zkt Vrouw’, is open to love again after a long relationship. Although the pain is not completely gone yet.
In the weekly magazine Dag Allemaal, Boer tells his wife-single Sanne about her former love life. “We were together for 5.5 years and I was convinced it was forever. If things go wrong, it will be hard. It really put me off, I never want to experience that pain again.”
Sanne also explains what went wrong with that previous relationship: “To be clear: there was no cheating. We both had our own farm, but he came to live with me out of love. Maybe I pushed him a little too much. I will take that with me to my next relationship: I have to learn to communicate better. But my company is my everything, I don’t want to and won’t leave here, not even for love.”

Sanne says that the pain about that break has not completely gone away yet. This is how she felt when she saw men entering her yard: “I wanted to open up to those men, but I suddenly realized that I wasn’t quite ready for that. I like to do everything step by step. When those men suddenly stood there in front of me, it all happened too fast for me. To be honest, I was shocked at myself, I didn’t realize it was still so deep.”
Sanne has been alone for eight years now. “I have fully devoted myself to the company in recent years. For example, we built a new stable three years ago. Working hard to forget my worries, that might be behind it, yes.” (Pom)
