Today, through the program of the 13th Chamber, the popular singer Milan Peroutka (31) confides in the audience with his fears, personal demons and difficulties that life often brings with it. The frontman of the band Perutě became more widely known for his company in his television show Your Face Has a Famous Voice, but he has been active in the music environment since he was a child. Despite his handicap and the tragic death of his father, drummer of the Olympic rock band Milan Peroutka st. († 49), he does not lose his optimism and devotes himself to music in his father’s honor.

Fighting hearing and fear
Singer and actor Milan Peroutka Jr. was born as the third child to the marriage of an artistic couple. Dad, after whom the young talented musician is named, was a drummer famous Czech rock band Olympic and mother Ivana Peroutková is a writer. As a small child, Milan suffered from recurrent otitis media, apparently resulting in temporary deafness. “They had to implant tubes in my ear canal to dilate because I had a harder time hearing and my ear problems accompanied me for even longer.” confided in the show Milan. He was very close to music from an early age and went to the choir with his older sister Bára, but even then he began to suffer from a fright, which eventually escalated into the fear that he could not cross the shadow of his famous father.
His fear broke the moment when he went “to the experienced” to Spain, his parents came to see him and he sang into their microphone in the pub. “That’s when I invited my parents to the bar where the boys and I were performing, and I thought I’d finally show them my work,” Recalls the singer. “We were watching then and we were really surprised.” Milan’s mother said proudly in the interview. Dad filmed it on camera at the time and said he was holding his fists. At that moment, apprehension about Milan fell. Dad’s recognition gave him confidence. They have become very close since then, and Dad has become his mentor and partner.
Tragic loss
Milan, for whom the recognition of his parents was a turning point for the full start of his own career, even went to concerts with his father for a year, he helped the band, so they enjoyed each other’s company a lot. However, these happy moments did not last long. When Milan was twenty-three years old, his father died tragically unexpectedly after an unfortunate fall down the stairs. It was a shock for the young singer, which he coped very badly with. “I remember it was morning and I heard Grandma calling Mom. After a while I heard Mom running downstairs, so I got out of bed and wanted to greet her. Mom came in the door and I already knew from the look that “My mother said to me then – Milouška, don’t worry, we can handle it, get dressed, Dad died.” he described to the camera with tears in his eyes an event that changed the lives of him and the entire Perout family forever.
As soon as he recovered at least a little from his father’s departure, he decided not to give up and continued to devote himself to music, but he had to prove all the more that he had it and that he was not just the “son of a famous father.” In the end, it worked. Milan Peroutka has starred in several television series, for example Surgery in the rose garden, Horák whose Tell me. In 2012 founded the band Perutě. After participating in show Your face has a familiar voice they do not have to complain about job offers, whether on television or in the theater.
