Hearing for a sexual abuse case in London

In the Court of Control of Guarantees of Belén, a hearing was held to resolve the request for preventive detention against three accused of sexual abuse in the town of London, in the department of Belén.
Sources linked to the case reported that the hearing began at approximately 9 a.m. and lasted until after 5.30 p.m. The arguments presented by the prosecutor Marina Villagra were contested by the defender of the three defendants, Luciano Rojas, and the complaint, led by Silvia Barrientos, continued.

The prosecution requested that Rodrigo Hernán Ruiz, the police officer Edgardo de la Cruz Roldán and their son Cristian Roldán continue to be detained after ensuring that the prosecution of the case could be affected by the existence of procedural risks.
Rojas questioned and requested the nullity of several expert reports and judicial proceedings.

Ruiz was charged with one act of “simple sexual abuse aggravated by the practice of two or more people as necessary participants”, and two acts of “sexual abuse with carnal access aggravated by the number of co-authors.”
Edgardo de la Cruz Roldán was charged with “simple sexual abuse aggravated by the number as co-authors”, and two acts of “sexual abuse with carnal access aggravated by the number as co-authors”.
Cristian Roldán was charged with “simple sexual abuse aggravated by the number as co-authors”, “sexual abuse with carnal access aggravated by the number as a necessary participant”, and “sexual abuse with carnal access aggravated by the number as co-authors “.

In all three cases, they are entrusted with the commission of the crimes in “real competition”.
At the end of this edition, it was known that the victim testified on Monday for more than three hours and that last week an ocular inspection with georeferencing was carried out.
According to preliminary expert reports, the abuse would have occurred in October 2020 on land belonging to one of the detainees.
