Yemeni Prime Minister: We see upcoming projects in the construction and development process with Saudi Arabia

The Prime Minister of Yemen, Ahmed Awad bin Mubarak, was briefed on the project to widen and rehabilitate Al-Abr Road, and the project to rehabilitate Al-Wadiah port, which is being implemented by the Development and Regeneration Program Saudi construction for Yemen, during a trip in which he was with the director of the program office in Ma’rib Governorate, Ali Al-Dosari, And several officials and experts.

Bin Mubarak said: “These projects are just a few projects that were preceded by key strategic projects, and followed by other projects in the process of partnership in the field of development with Saudi Arabia. “In partnership with our brothers, we will be together in the battle of construction and development.”

The Yemeni Prime Minister praised Saudi Arabia’s support in these vital strategic projects and others, noting the importance of this strategic line that connects Yemen to Saudi Arabia, and his desire for more com -partnership in the field of development.

The Prime Minister reviewed the completion of the first section of the 50-km widening and rehabilitation project of Al-Abr Road, which extends from Al-Dhuwaibi area to Al-Abr area, as well as the progress of the -work in the second. section from Ghuriban district to Al-Dhuwaibi district, with a length of 40 km.

He also reviewed the progress of work in the Al-Wadiah Port Rehabilitation Project, whose work includes the construction of new buildings and the rehabilitation of existing buildings, the completion of work on roads, squares and the general site, implement layers of roads, sidewalks, squares, fences and security. gates, providing directional and traffic signs, security monitoring systems, and strengthening stores… Water and power at the center.

The project to widen and renew the Al-Abr Road aims to reduce the risks and damages caused by the deterioration of the road, increase the efficiency of transport, facilitate the movement of individuals, and improving commercial movement in a safe way Al-Abr Road is an international link line and a main artery connecting the Yemeni governorates.

During his visit, the Yemeni Prime Minister praised Saudi Arabia’s support in these vital strategic projects (Asharq Al-Awsat).

The project to restore the harbor also came; To increase the efficiency and absorption capacity, to improve the infrastructure of the transport sector in Yemen, and to strengthen the economic and commercial movement between the two brotherly countries.

The Saudi Development and Reconstruction Program for Yemen supports the transport sector in Yemen with extensive development projects and initiatives that serve various areas of the region, including ports, outposts, ports -air and roads. and supply opportunities, and providing safe transport for individuals, as well as increasing access to services and markets, as well as supporting social connections and commercial and economic mobility.

The Al-Abr Road widening and rehabilitation project aims to contribute to reducing the risks and damages caused by the deterioration of the road and increasing the efficiency of transport (Asharq Al-Awsat).
