A few months ago the hype started around Wordle† Soon the simple game got different variants and now one of those variants has become wildly popular. It’s about Heardlea version aimed at music fans.
We probably don’t have to explain to you anymore what Wordle is. The game, which resembles the Dutch program Lingo, has been keeping the world busy for several months now. In the meantime, quite a few other versions of the game have surfaced. The most popular of the moment is Heardle.
Heardle
In Heardle you should not be looking for a word, but for a number. In the first round you will hear one second of the song. If you guess wrong or if you don’t know yet, you will hear an extra second in the second round. In the third round you immediately get two extra seconds until you hear 16 seconds of the song in the last round.
The numbers used in Heardle come from a collection of the most streamed songs of the past ten years. So you don’t have to worry about very obscure songs that you don’t know. Just like with Wordle, a new one appears every day Heardle which is the same for everyone. You can play for free via this link.
Variations
In addition to the general Heardle Are there more specific versions of it? Heardle to find. For now, this only concerns versions around K-pop. So there is a Heardle with only K-pop songs and is there one that oeuvre of the Korean boy band BTS in depth.
With the BTS version, the first round is a bit different than with the other versions of Heardle† You don’t immediately get to hear the song, but you get a sentence from the lyrics.
