Healthy caring teenagers (RSPS) are teenagers who are physically and mentally healthy, and who care about others. Teens who care about others also have the ability to understand other people’s feelings, help others, and participate in positive social activities.
To be a healthy teenager, you can do the following things:
Exercise regularly, at least 30 minutes a day
Eat healthy and nutritionally balanced food
Reduce consumption of sweet foods
Maintain a healthy weight
Get enough sleep
Keep up with vaccinations
Use sunscreen if you do outdoor activities
The Youth Red Cross (YRC) can also play a role in creating healthy teenagers who care about others. PMR Mula can be an example of healthy life skills to peers, and PMR Intermediate can provide support and help to peers.
Teens who care about others have the ability to understand other people’s feelings, show empathy, help others in need, and participate in positive social activities. Healthy teenagers who care about others are teenagers who have the potential to be strong and successful people in the future.
