The Optimum Soccer Club of Victoriaville couldn’t be happier. Registrations have increased phenomenally over the past few years and it has just unveiled its new brand image.
More than 2,200 players are members of the Club de soccer Optimum de Victoriaville. 75% of them evolve at the recreational level and the other 25% at the competitive level. Since 2019, the increase has been monstrous. Nearly 1,500 athletes have joined in just three years. “We are really happy. Our goal is to increase this number each year and develop young athletes so that they can reach the provincial level. Soccer is in excellent health in the region. All the ingredients are presently in place and we want to continue on this great momentum,” mentioned Xavier Desruisseaux, general manager of the Club de soccer Optimum.
Teams also experience success in their respective league and level. “Our female U16 squad is currently playing at the highest level in Quebec and is doing well. The same goes for our teams in the category just below. We are satisfied with the performance of our various formations. »
The Optimum Soccer Club unveiled its new brand image for the next five years. Much excitement surrounded this news. “We were very excited for our jerseys to arrive. It took longer than expected due to production delays. We are therefore very happy to reveal them. We have motivated partners with whom we love to collaborate. »
Soccer Quebec is currently carrying out a major reform and evolution of all clubs in the province. Classifications will then be assigned to each of them and will determine the level of play that will be possible to offer on its territory. “We are working hard to obtain the provincial level in order to offer elite soccer in the region. This is our most important objective for the next few years,” concluded Desruisseaux.
