This is of interest to the survey carried out by the Côte-d’Or delegation from the Chamber of Trades and Crafts of Bourgogne-Franche-Comté. A list of professional seamstresses in the department could be established.
The dressmaker at the corner of your street may be making masks to AFNOR standards and you don’t know it!
The delegation 21 of the Chamber of Trades and Crafts of the Bourgogne Franche-Comté Region (CMAR BFC) launched a large email survey, as well as telephone reminders, among professional dressmakers in Côte-d’Or.
The goal: to know and identify the craftsmen of the territory who manufacture masks out of fabrics according to AFNOR specifications, in order to put them in contact with individuals, needing these protections.
The results: the survey determined that around fifteen seamstresses in Côte-d’Or were mobilized for this task, but that they are not all known to the general public.
Thus, CMAR BFC encouraged them to register on the AFNOR platform (https://masques-barrieres.afnor.org) as part of the “solidarity masks” operation. This commits, in writing, the seamstresses to respect AFNOR specifications in the creation of protection marks. When registering on the site, they can choose to donate the masks or offer them at cost price.
