Dr. Hossam Abdel Ghaffar, spokesman for the Ministry of Health and Population, confirmed that Egypt has managed to provide all lines of AIDS treatment free of charge to patients, indicating that Egypt aims to eliminate the disease or achieve the lowest prevalence rates, adding that there is an expansion in clinics for tests, exams, tests and dispensing.
Dr Hossam Abdel Ghaffar, a spokesman for the Ministry of Health, revealed the services provided by the ministry to people living with HIV, which causes AIDS, noting that the services include HIV-related testing and counselling, as the laboratory examination is carried out in complete confidentiality.
He said the services include integrated social support for people infected with the virus and their families, as well as clinical care for people infected with the virus, with free treatment through treatment centers in fever hospitals in all governorates of the Republic .
