The observers of the Economic Department office in the south revealed, after a tour, that two major violations were seized in the town of Ghazieh, the first inside a well-known sweets shop, and the second in a bakery, before they caused a health disaster.

During their inspection inside the sweet shop, the observers found a large amount of raw materials used in the preparation of cake and ice cream, which are expired, in addition to the lack of hygiene conditions. They also seized a quantity of cheese in an oven for baking bread and manakish, some of which were expired and others showed mold, in addition to not observing hygiene conditions and general rules for food safety. Accordingly, two bailiffs organized an arrest warrant against the violating institutions, and the seized goods were seized, so that the approval of the Public Prosecution could be obtained to destroy them.
