The CHRU does not hide it. He was literally overwhelmed with requests. “We handled 450 calls, but also hundreds of emails,” says the establishment’s communications department.

A first day of intense activity which left little respite for the eight officers assigned to processing requests, but which also revealed a lack of resources. “We have to adapt,” recognizes the CHRU, which will strengthen its workforce.

Initially installed in the Nancy premises of the Marcel-Brot tower, the call center will move to the central hospital and will double its reception capacity. Sixteen people, as of Tuesday, will be assigned to processing requests. “If necessary, and depending on the number of calls, we will continue to adjust our resources”.
