COVID-19: Health reports 14,724,136 vaccines applied and 2,288 new positive cases

The Ministry of Health and Sports reports that to date 14,724,136 vaccines against COVID-19 have been applied and that the new positive cases reached 2,288.

The vaccines applied correspond to the first, second, third, single dose and fourth dose of Sputnik V, AstraZeneca, Sinopharm, Pfizer and Janssen.

Of the total immunized, 6,305,771 health workers, teachers, the elderly, children, adolescents, people over 18 years of age and pregnant women received the first dose, 5,087,299 the second, 998,652 a single dose, 1,969,541 the third and 362,873 the fourth dose.

The report establishes that 790,274 first doses were applied, 554,442 second doses to children from 5 to 11 years old, while 787,390 to adolescents from 12 to 17 years old in first doses and 614,021 in the second.

The total of the vaccines managed and acquired by the national government reaches 23,815,500 doses.

To date, subnational governments have neither managed nor purchased a single vaccine.
