Okaz learned from well-informed sources that the Ministry of Health recently recovered sums of money from the leaders of Taif Health Hospitals, after it was proved that they were not entitled to the benefits that had been paid to them for years. Sources say: “These executives receive a work-related allowance of 20%, which has invited the competent authorities of the ministry to recover the money spent.” Sources indicated that some employees of the “Taif Health Department” were assigned to work in health centers, and the benefits paid to them were not suspended, at a time when healthy human resources should have believed that the benefits were been interrupted; In exchange for assignment to other regions inside and outside the governorate. Sources confirmed that Al-Taif health will pay compensation for damages to groups that are not entitled to pay compensation within the list of rights and benefits under the legislation.
In the same context, the sources confirmed to “Okaz” that the Ministry of Health has once again asked “Taif Health” to form a committee to study all benefits in its hospitals and health centers. “Okaz” reviewed the letter from Taif’s director of health affairs, which calls for the formation of a committee consisting of six members of the human resources, salary and benefits administration, children’s hospital, Irada complex and mental health, to study benefits at Taif Health.
