Venezuelan national authorities will strengthen health protocols in companies where outbreaks of Covid-19 infection have occurred and that belong to priority sectors.
The Vice President of Economy and Minister of Petroleum, Tareck El Aissami, He specified that the measures are “disinfection of work and common areas -this must be guaranteed by the owners of the companies-, temperature taking and compulsory use of the mask, to maintain distance without affecting operations, use of alcohol and hand washing” .
The information was released by participating this Sunday during the meeting of the Commission for the Control and Prevention of Covid-19, which was led by the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, in the Miraflores Palace.
The Aissami also announced that the Workers Productive Councils (CTP) They will supervise that in the work areas where instruments are shared and tools are handled, disinfection is permanent.
Among the companies where outbreaks of contagion of the coronavirus have been registered are a meat company in Yaracuy state, a fishing company in Sucre and an electric company in Carabobo.
The National Executive guarantees the operation of companies belonging to vital sectors for the population, such as food, medicine and basic services, as part of the slogan: “Between quarantine and production, there is no contradiction.”
