Health personnel again mobilized in front of the ARS this Friday – All the news from Martinique on the Internet

After the demonstration of July 21, health personnel mobilized this Friday morning (August 6) in front of the ARS (Regional Health Agency) to again display their opposition to the vaccination obligation and the health pass.

As on July 21, health professionals as well as citizens responded to the call of the health union organizations (CDMT, CGTM, FO, UGTM, USAM and Convergence Infirmière 972) this Friday morning at the Regional Agency for health (ARS). Between 300 and 400 people demonstrated against the compulsory vaccination of caregivers and the health pass, validated Thursday by the Constitutional Council. The nursing staff, who are on indefinite strike, have removed the gowns.

A group of trade unionists was able to meet the director general of the ARS, Jérôme Viguier. Saphire Germany, nurse at the Trinidad hospital and member of the UGTM Santé union, regrets that “the ARS (could not) give us the answers to our requests. She does not yet know what arrangements will be made. “

“We will be in the street as long as we continue to play with our freedom”

According to this nurse, the ARS must bring back the treating doctors: “They are the first ramparts with the liberal nurses. There are at least 200 liberal doctors on vacation. We need personnel and equipment to treat our compatriots during this terrible health crisis. ”

The unions are also waiting for the precise figures of patients with Covid, vaccinated and unvaccinated, cured, etc. “We will be in the streets as long as we continue to play with our freedom,” she says.

This Saturday, the health unions are calling for a new demonstration against the vaccine obligation and the health pass. At the same time, workshops and sales of medicinal plants will be offered at La Savane.
