It is quite possible that citizens dissatisfied with the compulsory health pass will file a lawsuit against our country and even win it in the European Court of Human Rights. Such a forecast was made by the constitutionalist Assoc. Prof. Natalia Kiselova on the air of Bulgaria ON AIR.
The certificate takes effect at midnight on Thursday (October 21st), health authorities announced earlier. Without this pass, people will not be able to visit restaurants, large non-food stores, theaters, cinemas and any enclosed spaces. An exception was made only for schools and the state administration.
The constitutionalist believes that the approach of the Ministry of Health is wrong. According to Assoc. Prof. Kiselova, the health authorities are also late in introducing these measures.
“The health authorities were very late, this should have happened at the end of July, the beginning of August”, Assoc. Prof. Kiselova was categorical.
“Other countries have introduced a similar code for entering certain places, but preparations for this began in mid-July. We are introducing rules today, after which citizens will have less than 48 hours to prepare,” he said. in Constitutional Law at Sofia University.
According to her, it took much more time and resources for citizens to check if they have antibodies. Her expectations now are that the laboratories will become breeding grounds for infection.
“Science is advanced enough and it should have helped us, not to rely on fortune tellers, alcohol or other non-standard methods of treatment.
