The Oswego County Department of Health today issued a warning about potential exposure to the coronavirus at a hair salon in Oswego. Health officials have confirmed a positive case of Covid-19 at the scene, said Jiancheng Huang, director of public health for Oswego County.
Anyone who visited Good Guys Barber Shop, 195 W. First St., Oswego between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Dec. 17, may have been exposed to the virus, health officials said.
People who visited the store during this time should monitor themselves for symptoms of Covid-19 for 14 days, Huang said.
Symptoms include fever, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fatigue, muscle pain, headache, sore throat, chills, repeated tremors with chills, gastrointestinal illnesses, and further loss of taste or smell, Huang said. . People who have these symptoms should call their home health care provider. They should not go to the emergency room unless they have life-threatening symptoms, he said.

Oswego County has confirmed a total of 3,010 coronavirus cases, including 62 new cases reported today. There have been 22 deaths in the county.
