Corona seems to have been a thing of the past for a long time, but that is far from true. According to outgoing Health Minister Kuipers, there is no reason to worry, but we do have to pay attention to complaints.
The number of coronavirus particles in sewage water has risen again, reaching a new record high. This is evident from figures from the RIVM. This is an increase of 16 percent compared to last week. This means that the number of particles in the sewer is higher than ever. The number of sick people is also increasing. “150 people are now admitted to hospital every day. That is not worrying, but it is not little either,” says Kuipers in Op1. “The numbers are high. It’s not alarming. But if you have any complaints, do not attend the Christmas dinner.”

Corona is gone from the streets and perhaps even from our thoughts for some. But corona is anything but gone. @ministerVWS: “The numbers are high. It’s not alarming. But if you have any complaints, do not attend the Christmas dinner.” #Op1 #WNL pic.twitter.com/uyce1YEzQU

Vaccination
From October, anyone who wants can receive a new round of the corona vaccine. “You can still get quite sick. In addition, there are also people who suffer from long-term complaints,” says Kuipers. Only half of the over-60s have completed a new round. “Not smart,” is Kuipers’ response.
More than half of people over 60 have not been vaccinated. @ministerVWS: “They all received a personal invitation. We have informed extensively. It’s possible until tomorrow. You have to make your own choice, but I think it’s stupid for the target group.” #Op1 #WNL pic.twitter.com/eadgmu8uwz
