The next examinations are TB screening, Hepatitis C Screening, and HIV Rapid Test Examination. In addition, an assessment of the level of drug addiction (ASSIST) and an assessment of the mental health of prisoners was also carried out.
WBP also received counseling after the HIV test.
Dr. Kristianto, Pamekasan prison doctor, said that the results of the health BAP this time found that 1 prisoner had a history of Diabetes Mellitus, 1 prisoner had post-stroke hypertension, and 1 prisoner had asthma.
“At the time the health BAP was carried out, all WBP were declared healthy,” he said.
According to him, the Health Investigation Report on the new sailing WBP must be carried out with full responsibility, as a form of initial assessment of the WBP’s health condition.
“So that the right to receive treatment for WBP can still be given,” he said.
