In 2023, Health Insurance detected and stopped an amount of fraud amounting to 466 million euros, this represents an increase of almost 50% compared to 2022. In order to effectively combat these practices, Health Insurance provides a Cerfa work stoppage notice form that is difficult to falsify and is more secure. This includes the following elements:

- a holographic label;
- a magnetic ink;
- identifying features of the prescriber, etc.
This paper form, the use of which is encouraged by Health Insurance, is available to order on Amelipro.
Its use will be mandatory from June 2025 pour any sending of paper work stoppage notices. Thus, Cerfa sick leave forms that can be completed and then printed from prescription software will be rejected by health insurance organizations from this date.
