Bad Segeberg (dpa / lno) – In Schleswig-Holstein, people over 60 can now register on the internet on a waiting list for a corona vaccination in a doctor’s practice. The aim is to bring vaccinators and doctors together in a targeted manner, announced the Association of Statutory Health Insurance Physicians (KVSH) on Wednesday. Interested parties must agree to be vaccinated with the vaccine from the British-Swedish manufacturer Astrazeneca.

On the website www.praxisimpfliste-sh.de, those wishing to be vaccinated can search for a doctor by name and zip code in the country where they would like to be vaccinated. The participating doctors then call up the names of those interested in order to make an appointment in the practice.

In the age group of over 60s, tens of thousands would still need a vaccination appointment, said KVSH CEO Monika Schliffke. The online portal, which has now been activated, is intended to keep the bureaucratic effort as low as possible, both for the practices and for those interested in vaccinations. According to the KVSH, 122 practices across the country have so far participated in the waiting list system.
