Health – Frankfurt am Main – Ball rolls again without fans – Protests against corona requirements – Health

Frankfurt / Main (dpa / lhe) – The series of corona-related ghost games in the first and second soccer Bundesliga continues this weekend. Two Hessian clubs will intervene today. In the first division Eintracht Frankfurt has to compete against record champions and leaders Bayern Munich (3:30 p.m.). In the second division, SV Darmstadt 98 is waiting for FC Sankt Pauli’s Kiezkicker for their home game (1:00 p.m.) at Böllenfalltor.

The first game day after the forced break due to the Corona crisis was without incident and without fan meetings near the stadium. The police in Darmstadt also expect no major problems for the home game of the lilies.

Several demonstrations have again been announced in Frankfurt, some of the protests are directed against the conditions due to the corona pandemic. Around 500 people are expected at the largest rally.

Contact restrictions continue to apply this weekend. So only people from two different households are allowed to meet. Mouth and nose cover is compulsory in local traffic and in shops. Distance and hygiene rules also apply to restaurants and pubs so that the corona virus does not spread any further. Police and law enforcement officers will also check this weekend whether the Hessians abide by the rules.

The state of Hesse had recently relaxed the rules again. However, it is still unclear when the outdoor pools will be allowed to open again. After all, club training and swimming courses in the swimming pools will be possible again from June, albeit subject to conditions.
