Health for All develops its program

The La Santé pour tous association held its general meeting on Thursday January 19, under the chairmanship of Clément Gendrot. Dormant for some time, this was the first general assembly after his awakening. Opportunity to take stock of this first year, which has relaunched the association.

Indeed, for this year of recovery, the association organized in April, the “health sport” meeting. It brought together 35 people who participated in the six workshops offered. The day seemed to have been beneficial since 70% of participants said they wanted to continue an activity.

For 2023, the members intend to set up other events. Four are already on track.

A “Health you well” meeting, Saturday April 22, will be a day on the theme of caregivers. Its objectives will be to help caregivers (natural or informal) through discussions with various associations, personal service professionals and other home support structures.

The association also wishes to recruit representatives of users at the Maison de santé. These representatives will be there to take part in public health actions, create questionnaires for users of the Maison de santé, write protocols, but also play a communication role between users.

The third meeting will be the “Pink October” operation which will be held for the first time at Fayl-Billot on Saturday 14 October. Initiated by the Council of Elders in conjunction with the association of firefighters and Health for All, this day includes several actions such as courses: a 12 km trial, a 6 km family walk and a race for the youngest of 2 km. Health professionals and workshops are expected to fight breast cancer in particular.

In 2023, the association will also support an oncology project led by Dr Midy. This consists of sponsoring patients undergoing treatment for cancer with a trained volunteer who has had the same experience. It will be time for discussions with a neutral person and activities offered at home or outside. This is to allow patients to talk to someone outside of professionals or their family. In this project, the Health for All association will be responsible for identifying the patients concerned and communicating about the project.

Following the presentation of these four events, the financial statement was also presented. Very few movements were made during this first year, but the subscriptions and subsidies allowed revenue of approximately €1,000. Membership has been maintained at €15.

People interested in becoming “user representatives” can make themselves known to the Maison de santé, on 03.25.84.04.11.
