Lambaréné, October 12, 2023 (AGP) – The First Lady, Zita Oligui Nguema, launched this Thursday the caravan called “Pink October”, 2023 edition, as part of the fight against cancer in Lambaréné.
It was with a pink fitness session, called Zumba 01, that the awareness activities began. This sporting activity was an opportunity for the First Lady, Zita Oligui Nguema, alongside the governor of the Moyen-Ogooué province, Abdu Razzaq Guy Kambogo, and the Minister of Health, Professor Adrien Mougougou, to promote health through sport.
After the fitness session, the opening ceremony followed which was punctuated by two speeches, a visit to the screening units, and the presentation of the donation of consumable inputs and medical equipment by the First Lady.
The delegation also visited and inaugurated the social SAMU branch. Then, they visited the Albert Schweitzer Foundation hospital.
The First Lady was given the opportunity to interact with Migovean women, before her return to Libreville. The delegation continued the caravan in the localities of Fougamou and Mouila.
