The Mérida City Council offers medical services

Caring for the health of Meridans translates into a better quality of life and at the City Council we focus a good part of our efforts on reinforcing this aspect, especially now that we live in the middle of a pandemic, said Mayor Alejandro Ruz Castro.

Ruz Castro greeted the medical staff and after thanking them for their work urged them to continue offering quality and human services, especially now in the face of the Covid-19 pandemic that affects the population and affects different areas of daily life.

“As a city council we are committed to inclusion and generosity and that forces us to continue focusing resources and efforts to provide services, actions and public health policies, always giving priority to the common good,” stressed the mayor.

Accompanied by the director of Social Welfare, Jesús Aguilar y Aguilar, the mayor also spoke with some citizens who were waiting their turn to be treated, who he urged not to lower their guard in the presence of Covid-19.
