The head of Canacintra Juárez, Isela Molina, announced yesterday a health fair in coordination with the Union of Yonkeros AC.
Molina attended the ordinary session of the Yonkeros held yesterday in a well-known restaurant on Pedro Meneses de Hoyos Street, a session that was chaired by Héctor Lozoya, president of said union.
At the end of the session, the president of Canacintra, Isela Molina, stated that in a joint effort of the chamber and the Mexican Social Security Institute, these 300 tetanus vaccines were made available to residents of Yonker.
“Apart from these vaccines, we will also have vaccines against Covid as well as to prevent influenza, all of this will be available to the members of the union of yonkeros,” said the union leader.
He also indicated that the work carried out by the yonkeros is very risky since they work between sheets and metals and the risk of cuts is quite high.
“For this reason, we make these vaccines available to residents of Yonker, primarily as a preventive measure and to avoid health risks among those who dedicate themselves to this work activity,” said Molina.
The leader of Canacintra pointed out that the invitation is open to all members of the union of Yonkeros to come that day and get vaccinated, both the owners of the establishments and their employees.
“We will be very happy to receive you that day in the chamber and know that there is a real concern for the health of all those who work in the different junkyards that exist in our city,” concluded Isela Molina.
