A free RT-PCR screening without prescription offered by the Regional Health Agency (ARS), in collaboration with the University of Lorraine, is organized in the premises of the IUT Thionville-Yutz, this Thursday, September 24 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
This nasal swab test is open to anyone showing symptoms of Covid-19 or who has been in contact with a carrier of the virus. If students are the first target audience for this massive screening campaign within the premises of the University of Lorraine, the tests are accessible to everyone, including minors on the condition of being in possession of an authorization. parental.
Once the sample is taken, it is placed in a sterile bottle and sent to a laboratory for analysis within 24 hours. If the result is positive, it is everyone’s responsibility to isolate themselves at home and wear a mask in the presence of other people, to approach their doctor and to facilitate the identification of contact cases.
Access to the screening center requires visitors and accompanying persons to wear a mask, as well as careful hand washing with hydroalcoholic gel when entering and leaving the airlock.
