Health Convoys tour indigenous communities

Morelia, Mich. (OEM Infomex). – This week the Ministry of Health of Michoacán (SSM) will continue to provide medical care to indigenous communities through medical convoys that, on this occasion, will tour the municipalities of Tepalcatepec, Ecuandureo, Ixtlán and Jacona.

From December 7 to 12, the health convoys will offer medical services such as laboratory studies, blood chemistries, rapid HIV tests and densitometries free to people who come to each mobile unit.

People interested in having a medical check-up only must come wearing their mask to the indigenous peoples unit, which will be from December 7 to 9 in the municipality of Tepalcatepec, 10 and 11 in Coalcomán, 7 and 8 in Ixtlán, 9 and 10 in Ecuandureo and 11 and 12 in the main square of Jacona.



For women interested in getting tested for mammography or screening, there will also be a convoy that will tour the municipalities of Uruapan, Pátzcuaro and Tangamandapio, among others, from December 7 to 11.
