The Fléchois country has chosen to develop a health center with a central pole in La Flèche (Sarthe) and branches in the surrounding communes where there were pharmacies.
“We currently have an annex in Bazouges, Villaines-sous-Malicorne and La Chapelle-d’Aligné », Indicates the president of the Pays Fléchois, Nadine Grelet-Certenais.

A structure that “responds to the challenges”, according to her: “doctors no longer want to work in isolation, and want working conditions where there is a team”.
About forty professionals
The place now accommodates 9 doctors, “rather young” practitioners, notes the president, as well as a nursing practice (grouped together in a recent building) and several specialties (gynecologist, speech therapist, orthoptist, physiotherapist…). That is to say about forty professionals, without counting the decentralized consultations of the Sarthe et Loir health center.
The Fléchois site, rue du Petit Renard, is so attractive that it is now full.

Extension of the nursing home: in what form?
The difficulty is therefore not the medical shortage but to find suitable premises … And the question of an extension of the nursing home now arises: “we are going to re-examine the ARS”, announces Nadine Grelet-Certenais.
The balance must be maintained, including within the commune of La Flèche itself. The rehabilitation of the old hospital, mentioned in the past, has not yet been completed. “We have other projects for this site. For now, nothing has been done. “
Anyway, the projects of the community of communes will be carried out in consultation with professionals and “always in this construction a central pole with annex poles”, specifies the president who also notes that “the installation of our the vaccination center was also a great opportunity to work with them ”.
